Artist Statement
I believe that images should present an idea in a creative and interesting way, and that the elements of an image should all work together to enhance that idea. My goal is to create a body of work that combines the elements of traditional pastel artwork and digital illustration into one consistent aesthetic style that is appropriate for illustrative portrait, children’s book, and editorial work.
